• Is a volunteer at Brother Bill’s Helping Hand, the College Golf Fellowship and Watermark Church.
• Received the Presidents Volunteer Service Award, bestowed by the President of the United States and established to honor volunteers who give hundreds of hours per year helping others through the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation.
• Wants to start a foundation that encourages less opportune children to get into golf in his hometown of San Antonio.
• Superstitions include never changing a golf ball unless he loses it, never using balls with the number three, never using plastic tees, and always using the same half-dollar to mark his ball.
• Older brother, Mitchell, a former collegiate golfer at Rice University, won PGA TOUR Latino America’s 2021-22 Totalplay Cup.
• Uncle, Todd Haney, played college baseball at Texas and went on to play professionally as an infielder for the Montreal Expos (1992), Chicago Cubs (1994-96), and New York Mets (1998).
